History

The sect was founded after its unnamed ancestor discovered a spirit vein in the Phoenix Tail Mountain Range and used secret techniques to direct its flow through three mountains. The source mountain became Azure Cloud Mountain; the vein then passes through White Cloud Mountain and Violet Cloud Mountain, diminishing along the route. 9

Its history includes several renowned disciples: Mu Mingyin, who later became Sect Master, rose four centuries earlier; Fang Daoyi was prominent two centuries ago; Mu Zhuosha emerged less than a century ago. 89

Five centuries before Zhou Qing's admission, the sect gained a large Spirit Stone Mine after conflict with rival sects. The resulting wealth funded expanded spirit fields and ten alchemy rooms for the Pill Hall, though all ten have never been staffed simultaneously. 70

The sect historically emphasized Qi cultivation too heavily at the expense of Dao Heart cultivation. An unnamed disciple with twenty-seven Spiritual Roots reached Foundation Establishment within ten years and became a core disciple, but her later downfall became a lasting warning against neglecting the heart. 18

Disciple System
