Dormitory 108.
"Still not back?"
Looking at the tightly shut dormitory door, Jiang Nannan's pretty face flickered with melancholy.
The girl slowly slipped her two long, shapely legs out from under the covers and set her bare feet on the cold floor.
"Where did he go~?"
She pouted, but her hand unconsciously stroked the bed, feeling the lingering warmth.
Did this count as sharing a bed and pillow with her "big brother"? At the thought, Jiang Nannan blushed.
Last night, she had sneaked into Tang Qi's dormitory, intending to play the flower thief for once.
Where had the key come from? At the start of the school year, she had wheedled and pestered Tang Ya until she handed it over.
In Jiang Nannan's original plan, she would hide beneath the covers and give Tang Qi a surprise.
And the book said... at worst, Tang Qi would understand her feelings. At best... ahem... in any case, Jiang Nannan had prepared herself.
There was no other reason-Tang Ya was slipping out of her control. Though Tang Ya had tried hard to conceal it, Jiang Nannan had still noticed something amiss.
With Tang Qi also happening to return to the academy, those two provocations had driven Jiang Nannan to devise what she considered a wanton plan.
Yet Tang Qi had stayed out all night.
As for her, she had curled up beneath the covers, waiting and waiting, breathing in An Xin's lingering scent.
And, disgracefully, she had slept straight through to noon. At the thought, Jiang Nannan clenched her pearly teeth in frustration and viciously pinched her own rolling peaks.
Ouch~
The dazzling sunlight streaming inside brought Jiang Nannan back to her senses a little, but she felt no warmth at all. Instead, her heart felt hollow.
An ominous premonition rose unbidden.
