As the light faded, everyone exchanged bewildered looks, and an eerie silence fell around the Teleportation Array.

The Xinfei Merchant Guild and the elves of the Azshara Tribe checked their people simultaneously and soon reported their findings.
None of the Azshara Tribe's elves were missing, but the Xinfei Merchant Guild was short one person: Lucian, who had just come up from Sains Planet with Xu Yi.
"What is that boy doing?" Akali growled angrily. "Does he have a death wish?"
The Xinfei Merchant Guild researchers around them had all worked with Lucian for several years. He was good-natured and generous, and most of them got along well with him. Now that they realized he had suddenly rushed into the Teleportation Array, they could not help feeling bewildered.

"We'll write a message and send it through the Teleportation Array," Xu Yi said. "As for whether they can send a message back from the other side, we can't worry about that right now."
Akali understood.
