The two of them and the two dwarves looked toward the voice in astonishment. The previously empty space twisted, and a dozen or so figures slowly emerged from it.
Xu Yi took a closer look and was immediately startled.
"Elder Elusia, how did you..." Xu Yi glanced around. "How did you come to leave Falling Rain Forest?"
Elder Elusia smiled faintly. "President Xu, did you think I had spent my entire long life in Falling Rain Forest?"
Xu Yi gave an embarrassed laugh. "Of course not. It's just that almost two years have passed since our first meeting, and I've never seen or even heard of you leaving Falling Rain Forest. I'm simply not used to it."
His gaze then fell on the dozen other elves who had appeared with Elder Elusia. He smiled at Anise beside her, then looked at the three female elves from the Moon Shadow Tribe on her other side. "Have you three lovely ladies finally finished your inspection of the Night Song Tribe?"
The slightly taller Moon Shadow elf in the middle nodded. "Yes. We now understand how the Night Song Tribe cooperates with you humans. We asked Elder Elusia to bring us here because we wanted to discuss something with you, President Xu, and experience what it's like to properly live among humans."
"That's simple," Xu Yi said easily. "Many elves from the Night Song Tribe are working at our guild now. Through their work here, they learn and experience how to live alongside humans. If you're willing, you're very welcome to join our guild as well. I'll do my best to help you."
