"Haven't you often told me that if you had a territory entirely your own, the Xinfei Merchant Guild wouldn't have to keep being driven from one place to another? I can grant that wish now by giving you a portion of my territory."
"Is that allowed?" Xu Yi was stunned. "Giving me part of your territory as my Private Fief? I'm afraid the Grand Duke of Stantin wouldn't agree."
"As long as I agree, that's enough. As for whether the grand duke agrees... President Xu, surely you don't need me to teach you how to win his approval?" Lord Wellen gave him a knowing look.
Xu Yi nodded to show that he understood.
