Hercules's voice grew low and hoarse. His gaze fell on Ang'grath, and a flicker of dazed confusion passed through his eyes, which burned with golden flames.
His brows furrowed, and his expression twisted.
"Red..." he repeated.
"Your skin is red..."
His gaze remained fixed on Ang'grath's dark red skin, on that crimson body, on that figure burning with Khorne's psychic energy.
In his mind, that red skin overlapped with another figure.
The figure who had killed Lorgar before the Webway gate, the red-skinned traitor whose entire body blazed with psychic energy.

Hercules let out a deafening roar filled with hatred and rage.
He dropped Shalaxi, casually flinging the Keeper of Secrets of Slaanesh aside like a rag doll. She struck the wall and slid to the floor.
He did not spare her another glance. All his attention had shifted to Ang'grath.
Shalaxi came under attack from Argel Tal and the other enraged Word Bearers.
The Word Bearers Warriors lunged at her like maddened beasts. Golden psychic energy sharpened their weapons, and anger drove their attacks into an even greater frenzy.
Shalaxi dodged their attacks desperately. Several more wounds had opened across her body, and purple blood flowed from them.

Ang'grath's voice thundered through the ship compartment. Bright red psychic energy poured from his body—the power Khorne had bestowed upon him, the Blood God's reward for his loyalty.
That psychic energy wrapped around his body like flames, healing his wounds and bolstering his strength.
He spread his arms and lunged at Hercules, ready to fight this crazed Primarch Bodyguard to the death.
Khorne's blessing descended upon Hercules as well.
