The first to charge out of the rift were twin Bloodthirsters named Ragash and Uma.
Their silhouettes emerged from the Warp Rift like two moving fortresses of flesh, their enormous bodies blotting out the starlight and casting suffocating shadows.
Ragash was taller and more powerfully built. His skin was dark red, the color of congealed blood, and covered in countless scars left by battle.
Two curved, ram-like horns grew from his head, inscribed with Khorne's runes, which glowed dark red in the darkness.
He held a spear blessed by Khorne. Its tip had been forged from some unknown dark-red metal, and twisted souls coiled around it, wailing in agony.
Uma was somewhat leaner, but more agile.
Her skin was a sickly pale white, painted with intricate war totems that writhed faintly with her breathing, as though alive.
Her hair danced in the air like burning flames, and madness gleamed in her eyes.
She held an enormous battle axe, its blade stained with blood that could never be washed away. That blood flowed slowly along the edge and dripped onto the ground, eating small pits into it.
They had been born from the earliest recorded war in human history, a war fought in Mesopotamia.
The details of that war had long since vanished beneath the dust of history, but its repercussions had rippled through the Warp for thousands of years, finally coalescing into these two terrifying entities.
After that war ended, the twin Greater Daemons were created from slaughter and warfare. From then on, they became Khorne's most loyal warriors, fighting for the Blood God for over ten thousand years.
They had taken part in countless wars, leaving their footprints on every battlefield in human history.
Spear in hand, Ragash led the daemon legion in a charge toward Colchis.
