Abaddon dragged Soren out of the sky, then slammed him hard into the ground.

His left hand gripped Soren's ankle like an iron clamp, refusing to let go. Using the weight of his falling body, he hauled the Daemon Prince forcibly out of the air.

Soren's body traced an arc through the air before crashing into the ground, leaving a shallow crater in the stone paving.

Shards of stone and dust sprayed in every direction, leaving cracks radiating across the ground.

"You're the one who did this to Father, aren't you?" Abaddon's voice trembled uncontrollably, the kind of tremor that came only with fury pushed to its limit.

His eyes were bloodshot, his breathing grew heavy, and his heart pounded wildly in his chest. He had finally found the culprit.

The mastermind who had plotted everything in secret, who had lured Brutus into betrayal, who had indirectly caused Horus's fall, was right before his eyes.

He raised his Power Axe high and brought it down toward Soren's head.

Blue energy gleamed along the blade as it swept toward Soren's neck with enough force to cleave through a tank's armour.

Soren beat his wings in one swift motion, rolled across the ground, and retreated several steps.

The Power Axe fell past the edge of his wing, slicing a gash through its membrane. Dark blood seeped from the wound.

But he had no time to worry about the pain. He sprang to his feet after the roll, ready to regroup and defend himself.

Abaddon, however, gave him no respite.

He allowed Soren no chance to catch his breath, whirling his Power Axe as he pursued him in a storm of strikes.

His footsteps pounded heavily against the rubble, his gaze locked on Soren's figure as his attacks rained down like a raging
