"Kroge."

Zorge's voice came from under the black Helmet: "We are brothers."

"No, we are not." Kroge answered without hesitation.

He took half a step forward, raised the Bolt Pistol in his hand steadily, and pressed the muzzle of the gun against Zorge's head.

Several Raven Guard Legion warriors around were holding Bolter and slowly approaching Zorge, like a big net.

Tactical white light poured down from above his head, compressing Zorge's shadow into a small black patch clinging to his boots. He had no way out.

"Give me the weapon, Zorge." Kroge's voice was not high, but he spoke every word clearly.

Zorge did not respond immediately.

He stood silently for two seconds, then slowly lowered his head, took off the Bolt Pistol from his waist with his right hand, pinched the handle of the gun with his thumb and index finger, raised it with extremely slow and non-threatening movements, released his fingers, and let the gun fall to the ground.

Bolt Pistol hit the metal floor of the hangar, making a short and heavy muffled sound.

Zorge lowered his hands in silence, watching the gun slide half an inch on the ground and stop in front of an approaching Raven Guard soldier.

The two Raven Guard Legion soldiers bent down to pick up the gun, each checked the magazine and bolt, and then retreated outside the encirclement, with the muzzles still pointing in the direction of Zorge.

The sound of those few steps back made the encirclement close more seamlessly, and now there were at least two gun muzzles in each direction.

"Kroge, who are you loyal to?" Zorge asked abruptly.

Kroge's eyes flashed slightly.

He hadn't expected this question, but he didn't show any signs of being shaken by the unexpected moment.

His right hand holding the gun did not lower, it was still placed above Zorge's head, like an ax hanging over the head of the person about to be executed.

"Warmaster and Primarch." he said.

"That's it..." Zorge repeated in a low voice.

Zorge did not continue to ask, but in the next second, every bone and every muscle in his body had been tightened again by some kind of force.

He exchanged that simple response for one second of breathing time, one second of buffering, and another second of judgment.

Kroge stood in front of him, the muzzle of the gun pressed between his eyebrows. On the left and right were two Raven Guard holding guns. Farther away was an array blocking the exit.

I saw Zorge suddenly making a move at a speed that even Kroge couldn't react. Just like Lightning, I caught Kroge's gun-holding wrist, nailed his thumb into the groove on the inside of the wrist bone, and twisted the palm of his hand downwards with the gun.

At the same time, Zorge's figure turned sideways, and with the momentum of Kroge's forward lean, his entire torso was used as a temporary shield, blocking him from the muzzles of the surrounding guns.

The whole process happened in less than a second. When Kroge reacted, his gun was no longer in his hand.

Zorge's palm took the Bolt Pistol and slipped out of the control of his wrist bone. The muzzle of the gun changed direction within a very short distance and began to fire.

"Fire!"

Kroge looked at Zorge angrily and yelled.

In response to Kroge, it was the Bolter sound of Zorge.

The first shot of Bolt penetrated the weak point of the armor of Raven Guard on the left, which was a gap only as wide as a finger at the joint between the shoulder armor and the chest armor.

The bullet penetrated the flesh and blood, exploded in the chest, and made a dull explosion. The soldier fell backwards to the ground as if being lifted by an invisible giant hand. Blood spurted out from between the gaps in his armor, and a scarlet fan splashed on the mechanical inspection platform behind him.

The second shot Bolt hit the side of the neck of another soldier in the right front. The neck guard shattered under the impact. The bullet cut off the junction of the carotid artery and the trachea. That Raven Guard The body twitched and fell down. Bolter in his hand fired a deflected stray bullet as he fell to the ground, grazing Zorge's side and flying past, splitting a section of pipeline and sparking a string of sparks.

The third shot Bolt came, directly penetrating the third soldier's thigh. Before the man could point his gun at Zorge, his whole body rolled over like a felled tree and hit the armored floor hard.

When the other rebels Space Marine finally aimed their guns at the original location of Zorge, they found that Zorge had already disappeared into the shadows.

The rain of bullets fell on the spot where he had been standing, making a series of random Mars and dents on the metal floor, but there was no target in that space for tracking.

Only Kroge stood under the empty light, looking at his empty hands.

"Search!" Kroge's voice was torn out from deep in his throat, almost deformed.

"Don't let anyone go!"

Gungnir Lower Deck deep down, the air is heavier.

Far away from the tactical white light of the hangar, there are only a few fluorescent lights from the maintenance terminal sparsely cast overhead, cutting the outlines of pipes and brackets into geometric patterns of staggered light and dark.

Huge energy pipes extend along the wall, emitting a low, pulse-like vibration underfoot.

Zorge's figure slowly removed his armor's invisibility in the shadow of a bracket. As soon as his figure appeared, his right knee slightly bent, his body leaned sideways, and one hand quickly covered the abdominal wound.

A stray bullet penetrated his side.

That was the spot where a Raven Guard's blind shot hit him in just a split second after he grabbed the gun.

The bullet tore through the armor on his waist, leaving a hot and rough wound deep in the skin.

He lowered his head and glanced down. The fragments of the armor rolled outwards like bitten metal lace. Dark red blood was oozing from the wounds and dripping along the edges of the armor onto the metal plate under his feet.

The pain was like a red-hot iron bar churning in his waist.

Zorge leaned against the pipe, took a deep breath, and swallowed the pain deep into his abdominal cavity.

Fortunately, Space Marine's superhuman recovery power played a key role at this moment. This fatal wound on Mortals's body healed into scars in just tens of seconds due to Space Marine's self-healing power.

He could feel that the torn tissues were repairing rapidly, the new skin appeared slightly pink at the edge of the wound, the blood line stopped spreading, and the dried blood shell slowly solidified in the inner wall of the nail.

He let go of his hand and when his fingertips were lifted from the wound, only a light-colored new scar was left.

However, there is still bad news for Zorge.

He lowered his head to check his armor. The adaptive camouflage system that had been maintaining the appearance of Raven Guard had completely failed at this moment.

Near the bullet hole that emerged from the abdomen, pieces of armor that were originally dark gray began to peel off like faded leather, revealing the true color underneath that was preserved in memory.

Cyan color of the Alpha Legion.

That was the last layer of protective shell he lurked here, and it was also the moment it burst.

He is no longer a silent and reliable Raven Guard Commander, but an exposed Alpha Infiltration, standing in the heart of the enemy wearing a Shell that is incompatible with every wall in this Fortress.

There was no built-in communication, no friendly forces to respond, and no Aircraft to call. There was only himself and the dark passages leading to different directions around him.

Zorge didn't hesitate.

He squatted down and took out a short stick from his waist. The short stick was about an arm long. Its surface was covered with frosted grip patterns and was made of alloy.

He pressed the button on the side of the handle, and the short stick slid, unfolded, and stretched amidst a low clutch sound...

Half, two, three, finally turned into a Spear that is as long as the height of Zorge.

The tip of the spear is made up of multiple folded metal blades, with a cold light on the edge. It is the standard weapon of the Alpha Legion, simple, concealed and deadly.

He turned Spear in his hand, feeling the balance point on his fingertips, then raised his head and looked in the direction of the faint footsteps in the darkness above.
