As he walked down the corridor, Lorgar spotted Company Captain Saolis of the Third Chapter, who had come to the Second Legion as an exchange member.
"Father."
Saolis saluted him.
"Stay with the Second Legion and keep an eye on the Primarch for me. Report to me first if anything happens."
Lorgar could sense that something was wrong with Saladin. Though Chaos corruption was not at work, he still took an extra precaution, just in case.
At the very least, he needed time to react.
"Understood, Father," Saolis answered immediately.
"If anything goes wrong, leave the Second Legion at all costs. That is an order..."
"But if the Second Legion's Primarch becomes trapped, you must also do everything in your power to rescue him."
This was the most Lorgar could do for now: prepare for both possibilities as best he could.
