Lorgar slowly exhaled a stale breath. The surging golden radiance of psychic energy around him receded like a tide into the patterns of his armor, leaving only faint trails of light flowing along his blade.

First, he raised his head and examined the steel behemoth floating above them once more. A dull sheen flowed over its cold metal Shell under the constant illumination. It was immense and perfect, yet so deathly still that it chilled him.

Then he turned his gaze toward Anna beside him.

Anna remained as serenely detached as ever, as though the abrupt arrival and departure of the two Necron Overlords had been no more than an inconsequential interlude in a stage play.

"All right," Lorgar broke the silence, his voice stirring faint echoes through the cavernous hall. There was a little weariness in it as he came down from his state of high alert, but mostly a practical concern for their current situation. "Of those two troublesome bastards, one was scared off, and the other left on his own."

He paused, his gaze sharpening again as he looked at Anna. "So? What do we do next? This enormous thing..." He tipped his chin toward the colossal vessel overhead. "How do we handle it? Can we fly it out of here? Or is there something even deadlier hidden inside?"
