Lorgar stood before Magnus, Greatsword in hand.
His body was like a mountain range stretching across the river of stars. His six wings spread behind him, their golden radiance burning like flames in the darkness and making his figure seem immeasurably tall.
His gaze locked onto the blue sphere of light hurtling inexorably toward him. At that moment, his breathing became steady and deep, his heartbeat slow and powerful. His will condensed into an invisible sword, becoming one with the tangible Greatsword in his hands.
"Magnus!"
Lorgar's voice thundered through the starry expanse, laden with complex emotions, as though he were calling out to a lost soul.
There was anger, sorrow, resolve, and a trace of profound regret.
"Lorgar!"
Magnus's voice emerged from the blue sphere, equally impassioned and resolute, as though he were answering an opponent he was destined to face.
The light across the sphere's surface grew even more dazzling and fierce, as though it would swallow the entire universe in that blue ocean.
"Magnus!"
"Lorgar!"
Both roared at once, then crashed into each other.
BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM!!!
Two immense forces collided in the void. Golden and blue light intertwined in an instant, forming a storm spanning tens of thousands of light-years.
That radiance instantly illuminated the surrounding star cluster, overloading the sensors of the Imperium's ships watching from afar, blinding those gazing up at the stars on distant worlds, and forcing the warriors looking skyward on Prospero to close their eyes.
At that moment, Lorgar's blade actually held firm against Magnus's impact.
Under the assault of the blue sphere, the Greatsword groaned beneath the unbearable strain.
