Logan had Börn lead the way and began looking around the ship.
Although he already believed Börn's account deep down, caution still compelled him to take a closer look.

As they passed through the armoury, Logan looked at the master-crafted Boltguns and Chainswords, each bearing the unmistakable marks of Macragge craftsmanship, and the corners of his mouth lifted slightly.
In the next room, the sight of neatly stacked rows of Artificer Armour brought the tips of his teeth into view.
When several Dreadnoughts came into sight, Logan's smile vanished at once, and he turned to Börn beside him.
"These Dreadnoughts?"
Börn shrugged with feigned nonchalance, pretending not to care.
"Great Wolf, their sarcophagus compartments are all empty. None of them have been used! If you want them, I'll give you the lot."
Logan's vanished smile bloomed again, and he kicked Börn in the backside.
"You little whelp."
Although being interred in a Dreadnought was an honour, that did not make it a good thing.
Logan had no desire to end up in one.
Still, the sight of that Castaferrum-pattern Dreadnought stirred an inexplicable wistfulness in him. It reminded him of the ancient Dreadnought Acolyte in the Fang, whose teachings even he had once received.
Börn interrupted Logan as he stood staring at the Ironclad Dreadnought and led him to the gene-seed vault.
The vast stockpile of gene-seed truly stunned Logan for the first time.
It was the first
