The Dark Matter Singularity Generators were distributed throughout the ship, and each could create a small Dark Matter Singularity under specific conditions.
A Dark Matter Singularity was a special celestial body formed from densely concentrated dark matter, possessing immense gravitational force. Under normal conditions, the Dark Matter Singularity Generators used special containment fields to control the singularities' gravitational reach and prevent them from damaging the ship itself.
When an attack was required, the chain-reaction control system released those restraints while injecting vast amounts of energy into each Dark Matter Singularity Generator, driving them to produce more Dark Matter Singularities and release them into the target Star System.
The special interactions between dark matter caused these singularities to rapidly trigger a chain reaction within the Star System. As their mass increased, their gravitational reach continued to expand until the entire Star System lay within their immense gravitational grip.
Stars would be torn apart, planets shredded, and all matter drawn into the singularities. The process would accelerate until the entire Star System was compressed into one enormous Dark Matter Singularity. That singularity might then persist as a dark hazard in the universe, or explode under its own instability. The energy and Gravitational Waves released would devastate the surrounding space, reaching far beyond the Star System itself.
