Yu Tianjun arranged military deterrence for the Star Luo tournament and asked Ye Yulin and Yu Yuanjue to capture the Death Messenger before Shrek’s Inspection Corps reached him. He later revealed his powerful Body Martial Soul to Long Xiaoyao, while both teams departed for the tournament amid Shrek roster tensions and a dangerous mission briefing.

• Yu Tianjun persuaded Ye Yulin to capture the Death Messenger in the Mingdou Mountain Range and requested military forces to deter the Star Luo Empire from interfering at the tournament; Yu Yuanjue agreed to join the operation.
• Yu Tianjun shared a late-night barbecue with Long Xiaoyao, then revealed his Ultimate Light Body Martial Soul and warned that the Body Sect might try to recruit or seize him.
• Yu Tianjun, Ye Guyi, Ling Luochеn, and the Sun Moon Team departed from Mingdu as Shrek’s main team and Reserve Team also set out for the tournament.
• At Shrek’s mission briefing, Xuan Zi assigned the main team to lead the Inspection Corps mission against the Death’s Hand Bandit Group, with the Reserve Team assisting and Mei Diwei protecting them.
• Xuan Zi ordered Bei Bei to join the main team and replace Mei Diwei, while Xi Xi worried about Shrek’s secretive decisions and the changes to the team roster.

The Death Messenger ambushed Shrek Academy’s Starting Team, killing three Inner Court Disciples and capturing Xi Xi and Bei Bei before Xuan Zi could stop him. The survivors debated whether to continue to Star Luo City, and Wang Yan decided their next move would depend on whether Dai Yueheng recovered.

• Ma Xiaotao led the Starting Team through the Death's Hand Bandit Group, while the team’s attacks destroyed much of the cave.
• The Death Messenger detonated the corpses of the bandits, killing Yao Haoxuan and gravely injuring the other fighters as the cave collapsed.
• The Death Messenger seized Bei Bei and Xi Xi, then escaped after triggering another explosion that buried Chen Zifeng and Gongyang Mo.
• Xuan Zi rescued Bei Bei but failed to recover Xi Xi, and he returned to the survivors as they condemned his handling of the ambush.
• Ma Xiaotao urged the survivors to compete in Star Luo City, while Huo Yuhao rebuked her and Xuan Zi carried Bei Bei back to Shrek.
• Wang Yan ordered the group to seek help from the White Tiger Duke’s army and said they would compete if Dai Yueheng woke, or withdraw if he did not.

Yu Yuanjue and Ye Yulin captured the Death Messenger and rescued Xi Xi, then discussed a plan to target the Holy Spirit Cult through its underground allies. In Star Luo City, He Caitou secretly nursed his desire for revenge while Yu Tianjun recruited Xuan Ziwen and received two powerful soul tools for final adjustments.

• Yu Yuanjue and Ye Yulin ambushed the escaping Death Messenger, captured him alive, and took the poisoned Xi Xi toward Star Luo City for treatment.
• Ye Yulin proposed that he, Yu Yuanjue, and Liao Mengkai use rival underground organizations to strike the Xishui Alliance and weaken the Holy Spirit Cult.
• Xian Lin'er reassured Xiao Xiao and He Caitou about their place in Shrek, while He Caitou privately recalled his royal identity and vowed revenge on the Sun Moon Empire.
• The Sun Moon Team crossed into the Former Douluo Continent, and Yu Tianjun persuaded Xuan Ziwen to consider joining his recruitment and soul-tool projects.
• Jing Hongchen presented the Sword of Judgment and the Wind-Thunder Roaring Dragon Spear, and Yu Tianjun felt drawn to the sword.
