| Stage / Realm / Level | Chapter | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Awakening and stabilization into its mutated form | 2 | Lin Mo copies Tang San’s twin-martial-soul trait, gaining an additional slot that immediately awakens a random martial soul. The resulting Ten Headed Fierce Yang Serpent stabilizes with only one head and a weakened aura. It loses its poison attribute but retains pure fire and pure yang, placing it at the threshold of high-grade. |
- Lin Mo considers further evolution possible, but no completed evolution or soul-ring acquisition is documented in the supplied chapters 2 4.
Background / History
After the awakening ceremony, Lin Mo introduces his martial soul to Old Jerry as the Blazing Sun Serpent. Its high grade, together with Lin Mo’s innate full soul power, earns him Soul Emperor Village’s work-study place. Over the following three months, he trains his body and familiarizes himself with the martial soul while practicing the copied Tang Sect techniques 3.
At Noding Academy’s entrance, Lin Mo manifests the serpent when the gatekeeper questions his enrollment certificate and moves to tear it apart. Its intimidating presence frightens the gatekeeper into submission 4.
Yu Xiaogang subsequently recommends a control build using resilient plant soul rings and a serpent’s supposed natural venom. Lin Mo rejects this advice: his martial soul has no poison attribute, and he regards its pure yang fire as its strongest asset. He chooses the power-attack route and hopes that an immortal herb could eventually raise its quality to rival or surpass the Jade Phosphorous Serpent Emperor; this remains an aspiration rather than an achieved upgrade 4.
Appearance
The martial soul manifests as the phantom of an enormous crimson serpent 2.
- Single head: Unlike the Ten Headed Fierce Yang Serpent from which it mutated, its stabilized form has only one head 2.
- Threatening presence: Its manifestation carries a savage, eerie, deadly aura 2 4.
Abilities & Skills
Pure Yang Fire
Fire and pure yang are the attributes retained after mutation. Lin Mo identifies pure yang fire as the martial soul’s principal offensive strength 2 4.
- Forms the basis of his intended power-attack build 4.
- Has no poison attribute, making Yu Xiaogang’s proposed venom-based control approach unsuitable 4.
- No named fire attack or soul-ring skill is demonstrated in the supplied chapters 2 3 4.
Intimidating Manifestation
Lin Mo can summon and withdraw the giant serpent phantom 2 4.
