Charle overwhelmed the Vampire Earl, whose spells could not penetrate Charle’s Dragon Armor Spell and whose magic was sealed by Dust-Free Land. As Charle cut the Earl into five pieces, the vampire recognized him as a prodigy who might one day surpass Dumbledore.
- The Vampire Earl failed to break Charle’s grip, and Charle slapped him before he escaped in a swarm of bats.
- The Vampire Earl attacked with the Blood Burning Curse and Blood Blade Curse, but Charle’s Dragon Armor Spell blocked them.

- The Vampire Earl recalled his master’s assessments of Grindelwald, Dumbledore, and Voldemort and judged Charle a freak who might surpass them.
