Even with strict precautions, several children still went missing every day, leaving the villagers terrified. With no other choice, Yugakure's Village Chief had appealed to Konoha for help.
Qingyun studied the Mission Report carefully and began recalling what he knew about Yugakure.
Too much time had passed, and Yugakure had appeared only rarely in the original story, so even after thinking for a long while, Qingyun could recall little. All he remembered was that Yugakure had produced a notorious rogue ninja, a follower of the Evil God who claimed to be immortal. He had killed Asuma before Konoha Chunin Shikamaru outwitted him, lured Hidan into the Nara ancestral grounds, and sealed him there permanently.
"What is it? Is there something difficult about this mission?"
Seeing Qingyun frown in thought, Hiruzen Sarutobi asked curiously.
"Nothing. I was just thinking about Yugakure. I'll take this mission. If there's nothing else, I'll take them to get ready!"
Hiruzen Sarutobi's voice snapped Qingyun out of his thoughts. He shook his head lightly, then took his leave.
"Good. I'm sure you'll lead them through this mission flawlessly!"
Hiruzen Sarutobi nodded in satisfaction.
Qingyun gave a slight nod at Hiruzen Sarutobi's words, then headed outside with Shisui Uchiha, the other two little ones, and Hizashi Hyuga.
After leaving the Hokage Building, Qingyun looked at the three little ones and said, "Go prepare your supplies. This will be a long mission, so bring enough rations. Also, stock up on explosive tags in case anything unexpected happens. Remember, I won't step in unless there's absolutely no other choice!"
