After Madara Uchiha left, Qingyun resumed practicing the Cloud-Displacing Palm. It embodied the ever-changing nature of clouds, its moves elusive and unpredictable, yet it also contained a trace of supremely domineering intent.
Early in the original story, Bu Jingyun had swept through the martial world undefeated with the Cloud-Displacing Palm, earning the title of Uncrying Reaper. Coupled with his unique destiny, it allowed him to unleash one hundred percent of the technique's power.
The Cloud-Displacing Palm had twelve forms in total:

Sixth form, Layered Clouds, Deep Ensnarement → Layers of cloud energy surrounded the opponent, preventing them from launching any attacks.
Seventh form, Rending the Sky, Parting Clouds → A strike carrying immense force, powerful enough to tear open the heavens.
Eighth form, Cloud Sea Billows → Hardness held softness, and softness held hardness; like waves upon the sea, the two worked in harmony.
