Deidara showed no reaction to Kakuzu's words. He had no fear of Iwagakure's pursuit squads. He had left Iwagakure this time to go to Konoha and find Qingyun.
Although he did not know why Qingyun had taught him cultivation techniques, Qingyun had taken on the guise of Yama of the Underworld when Deidara was young and taught him all sorts of miraculous arts. Deidara gave Kakuzu an indifferent look as he spoke.
"Brat, you don't know what's good for you. In that case, let me show you the Evil God's power."
Already impatient, Hidan immediately circulated his chakra upon hearing Deidara's response and charged at him with his scythe. Once he reached Deidara, he slashed at him.
Deidara was not remotely afraid of Hidan's attack. He immediately took out some explosive clay, chewed it in his mouth, and released a swarm of white grasshoppers that hopped toward Hidan.
Before long, the white grasshoppers reached Hidan and detonated.
A chain of explosions erupted around him.
