The Six Meridian Divine Sword was a special Sword Technique from Jin Yong's wuxia novels. Though called a Sword Technique, it did not use an actual sword against an opponent, merely attacking in a similar fashion. Building on the One Yang Finger, it fired internal force through the air from six meridians within the ten fingers. Unlike striking pressure points from a distance, the Six Meridian Divine Sword could directly pierce and injure its target, making it far more powerful.
After the system modified the Six Meridian Divine Sword, it became even more powerful, and it could be practiced directly without first learning the One Yang Finger.
After familiarizing himself with the Six Meridian Divine Sword's training method, Qingyun began practicing its first Sword Technique: the Lesser Shang Sword, which used the right thumb and the hand taiyin lung meridian.
Qingyun had already opened the hand taiyin lung meridian in his right hand. He circulated his Nine Yang Internal Force along the Six Meridian Divine Sword's prescribed route, shaping it into Sword Energy and gathering it in his right thumb.
At once, chilling Sword Energy condensed in Qingyun's hand, then shot forward.
Pfft!
Nawaki, who was practicing tree climbing, suddenly startled as he sensed Sword Energy flying toward him. Turning to look, he discovered that the tree beneath him had been pierced clean through. The fright made him lose his footing, and he fell with a thud!
Rubbing his backside, Nawaki stood and looked at the tree. A thumb-sized hole had pierced the trunk, which was so thick it would take five people to encircle it. He shuddered involuntarily, then turned to stare blankly at the frowning Qingyun.
Despite seeing Sword Energy strike the tree, Qingyun showed no delight. He merely frowned in thought.
He appeared to have successfully used the Lesser Shang Sword, and its power was decent, but it was too slow. Not only did shaping his internal force into Sword Energy take too long, the attack had taken a full three seconds to travel from his finger to a tree less than ten meters away.
That was enough time for a skilled opponent to evade his attack with ease and counter.
After pondering with a frown for a while, Qingyun repeatedly used the Lesser Shang Sword. He only stopped when the meridian in his thumb began to ache!
Where exactly did I go wrong?
Although he had not trained for long, this Naruto world was rich in spiritual energy. His internal force was no weaker than that of Duan Yu, who had absorbed the internal force of numerous masters in a low-powered martial world.
So why is my Six Meridian Divine Sword so slow?
Qingyun frowned in thought as he healed his right thumb.
After a long while, Qingyun rapidly circulated his Nine Yang Internal Force, shaping all of it into Sword Energy. He repeatedly flushed it through his hand taiyin lung meridian, only stopping when the meridian could barely endure any more!
Then Qingyun once again gathered internal force in his right thumb. A sharp aura of Sword Energy radiated from it, followed immediately by a formless streak of Sword Energy that shot toward the tree ahead.
Boom!
Qingyun's Lesser Shang Sword blasted a large crater into a tree so thick that it would take five people to encircle it.
The tremendous noise jolted the other three out of their training, and they all looked toward its source.
Qingyun smiled at the sight and nodded in satisfaction. Ignoring the astonished trio, he continued circulating his internal force, repeatedly flushing it through the remaining five meridians. He only stopped once those meridians could withstand the passage of Sword Energy-infused internal force.
Afterward, Qingyun practiced the Six Meridian Divine Sword again and again, its intricate Sword Techniques flashing around him.
Only after spending more than half of his Nine Yang Internal Force did Qingyun stop using the Six Meridian Divine Sword. He sat cross-legged to recover his internal force, while gaining further insights into the technique.
Once his internal force had recovered, Qingyun stood. Rather than continuing his own training, he coached Minato Namikaze and Kushina as they practiced the Lingbo Micro-Step.
Watching the pair stumble through the Lingbo Micro-Step, Qingyun could not help laughing!
"Ow!"
Kushina cried out in pain. Qingyun looked toward her and discovered that she had strained her back and was rubbing her waist.
Seeing this, Qingyun went over to Kushina and used the Healing Technique to help her recover.
As Qingyun approached and pressed his palm against her waist, Kushina's heart began racing, and a blush quickly spread across her little face. Once she caught his scent, her cheeks burned even hotter.
"Feeling better?"
After treating Kushina for a while, Qingyun asked softly.
"Mm, it doesn't seem to hurt anymore! Qingyun, you're amazing."
Hearing Qingyun's question, Kushina came back to her senses and answered happily.
"All right, training is about balancing work and rest. You've been practicing for quite a while, so it's time to relax. Let's go hunting!"
Once Kushina had recovered, Qingyun spoke to Minato Namikaze and Nawaki.
As for Nawaki's suggestion of playing ninja games, Qingyun had no interest at all. After all, an adult's soul resided within him, and those ninja games were for little kids.
The four searched for prey along the Edge of the Forest of Death. Suddenly, a gigantic black bear appeared before them.
Qingyun's eyes narrowed when he saw it. This black bear was absurdly large. Standing upright, it reached a full five meters, and its thick limbs were as wide as Qingyun's waist.
"Minato, take Nawaki and Kushina back."
As he spoke, Qingyun drew the Azure Edge Sword. Rather than retreating, he used the Lingbo Micro-Step to race toward the black bear.
"Roar!"
Seeing that Qingyun showed no fear, the black bear let out a threatening roar and swung its enormous paw at him.
Qingyun used the Lingbo Micro-Step to evade the blow. Then, with a trace of sharp energy curling around the Azure Edge Sword, he slashed fiercely at the bear's back.
Slash!
"Roar!"
The Azure Edge Sword cut through the black bear's skin. It immediately howled in pain, its eyes rapidly turning bloodshot.
Make no mistake: the black bear had not awakened the Sharingan. The pain had simply enraged it. Its massive bulk did nothing to hinder its speed as it spun around and clawed at Qingyun.
After landing his strike, Qingyun did not linger. His feet slid into the Lingbo Micro-Step, carrying him away from the black bear.
Enraged by Qingyun, the black bear charged after him.
"Lightning Release: Earth Flow!"
While moving away from the black bear, Qingyun formed hand seals. A streak of lightning shot through the ground and struck the bear, catching it off guard and paralyzing it.
But he was not finished. Immediately following the Earth Flow, Qingyun rushed in front of the black bear, leaped high, and brought the Azure Edge Sword down fiercely toward its neck.
Sensing danger, the black bear drew on its hidden strength and temporarily suppressed its paralysis, swinging its enormous paw at Qingyun.
Seeing that the black bear could move again, Qingyun hastily changed his attack. He held the Azure Edge Sword across his chest while continuously circulating Nine Yang Internal Force through his body.
Bam!
Qingyun took the black bear's blow head-on and was sent flying backward!
"Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique!"
"Wind Release: Breakthrough!"
Suddenly, two attacks came at the Black Bear from behind. Sensing them, it hurried to dodge, but before it could move, a golden chain formed from chakra wrapped around it.
Behind the Black Bear stood Kushina, Minato Namikaze, and Nawaki.
Still airborne, Qingyun watched the trio work together. He was especially surprised to see Kushina use the Adamantine Sealing Chains. He had never expected her to quietly learn such a secret technique of the Uzumaki Clan.
The Black Bear took a Water Dragon Bullet and a Wind Blade head-on. Blood streamed from its body as it frantically struggled to shake off the chains wrapped around it.
In midair, Qingyun stepped on his right foot with his left to gain leverage and neutralize the force throwing him backward. Then he used the Lingbo Micro-Step in the air, becoming a blur as he rapidly channeled Nine Yang Internal Force into the Azure Edge Sword. At once, a towering Sword Intent filled the surroundings.
Gripping the Azure Edge Sword, Qingyun reached the Black Bear and swung again at its neck.
Bound by Kushina's Adamantine Sealing Chains, the Black Bear had no time to react. Qingyun beheaded it with a single stroke.
After Qingyun killed the Black Bear, Kushina crouched on the ground, panting heavily.
She had only just learned the Adamantine Sealing Chains and was not yet proficient with them. With the Black Bear's tremendous strength, she had needed every ounce of effort to keep it from breaking free. Now that it was dead, she naturally could not hold on any longer.
"You all did great!"
Qingyun smiled at the three before him, giving them a thumbs-up.
At Qingyun's praise, all three broke into broad grins!
"Of course! Who do you think I am? I'm a powerful ninja destined to become Hokage!"
Nawaki rubbed his nose smugly and looked at Qingyun with pride.
Qingyun gave Nawaki a helpless look. A little praise was all it took to send this guy's ego soaring.
Ignoring the smug Nawaki, Qingyun cut off the Black Bear's four paws. These were good stuff, and he could not let them go to waste.
