His brow was furrowed deeply enough to crush a fly.
His eyes were full of worry. The instant he saw Jin, he could no longer hold back.
"Jin, something's wrong!"
"The Hokage acted far too strangely this time. That wasn't how he should have reacted. How could he just concede so easily?"
"I've dealt with him for quite a while. I have some idea of what he's like."
"He's definitely plotting something, but I can't figure out what he could possibly use to turn things around."
Fugaku's face was filled with unease.
After all, this involved both the village and the Uchiha. One misstep could deal a devastating blow to the entire clan.
So although he hadn't shown himself today, he had been watching the situation closely from the shadows.
