Although Jin Uchiha had just said that Minato Namikaze could more or less be considered on the alliance's side now, no one could guarantee that both sides were truly of one mind.
At a time like this, it was safer to let Jin handle things himself.

Yan Uchiha acknowledged him, then asked, "Minato, about the Iwagakure intelligence I submitted earlier—does that count as completing the mission? Has Shikaku Nara given an answer?"
He clearly still couldn't put that matter out of his mind.
After all, it was part of his deal with Hiruzen Sarutobi. He had taken such a huge risk. If Hiruzen ultimately reneged, or even tried to reclaim the reward he had already paid in advance, Yan would have to go back and have a proper argument with him.
Hearing this, Minato Namikaze could only shake his head helplessly.
"Jin, aren't you being a little too cautious?"
"Don't worry. Iwagakure sent a delegation last night. Judging by the timing, they've probably already entered Konoha. Next comes negotiating and signing a peace treaty."
He paused, then continued, "Besides, word that you wiped out three thousand elite Iwagakure shinobi in that battle has already spread throughout the village. You're the biggest contributor. No one can erase that achievement."
