Hinata was sitting beside Kakashi's hospital bed, looking after her teacher.

"Hinata, I'm here to take you home! Hey, Kakashi-sensei, how are you doing today? Feeling better?"

Hinata was much more polite. She waited quietly while Naruto and Kakashi exchanged a few words, then said goodbye to her teacher.

The two left the room hand in hand.

Watching them go, Kakashi found that this little touch of warmth felt rather nice.

"They're all good kids. They know I'm all alone, so they all came to check on me."
