"Naruto-kun, are you okay?"
Hinata asked with concern.
"How could I not be okay? These guys are being controlled, and they're falling over themselves to kill themselves!" Naruto gave the Anbu in his grip a vicious blow, then hurled him into the others. He charged forward again, grabbing one who was trying to weave hand seals for a sneak attack and delivering a slap and a kick. "Look, I'm so busy I can't even stop!"
With Hinata and Sasuke joining in, the pressure on Naruto eased considerably. He took the opportunity to smile at Pakkun, the ninja dog perched on his head. "Where's Kakashi-sensei?"
"On our way here to find you, we ran into another group of Anbu who seemed off. They appeared to be protecting some strange guy. He had your scent on him. Kakashi said he was worried about you, so he stayed behind to hold them off alone and sent us ahead to find you."
"Now that we've confirmed they're being controlled and you're safe, kid, I'll head back and report to Kakashi before he kills them."
With that, Pakkun hurriedly jumped off Naruto's head and ran back the way he had come.
At Naruto's prompting, Hinata focused her Byakugan on the Anbu lying on the ground, then frowned slightly.
"The chakra inside them is steady. Aren't they being controlled by genjutsu?"
"It's a Sharingan ability..."
Before Naruto could explain much more, the Anbu began denouncing them.
"The Hyuga Clan and the Uchiha cl—Sasuke Uchiha! Are you betraying the village too?"
"Naruto Uzumaki attacked the Daimyo of the Land of Fire/Lord Hokage/my father! His crimes are unforgivable, and you're helping that criminal?"
Sasuke glanced at them. He did not believe a word they said, though he was somewhat concerned about the Sharingan ability Naruto had just mentioned.
