"Kakashi Hatake, may you die a horrible death!"
Chūsuke, the Land of Iron's second-in-command, slammed his fist onto the tactical table before him, his face contorted with fury.
With his cross-shaped sword scar, single eye, and the dragon tattoo on his bald head, Chūsuke was already unapproachable enough. Now his savage expression made him look like a true demon.
"Send out the order! Retrieve Lord Mifune at any cost! No, I'll go myself!"
"Don't be rash. He's clearly doing this on purpose..."
"How can I not be rash? That bastard..."
Chūsuke's eye was bloodshot as he pointed outside with a trembling finger.
"Report! Lord Chūsuke, Kakashi from Konoha is back. He..."
Whoosh.
Before the soldier could finish, Chūsuke charged out with his sword in hand.
Seeing the normally composed Chūsuke act like this, those beside him could only sigh and follow.
"Kakashi Hatake!"
"Hey, I'm back. Have you made up your minds?"
Though soldiers surrounded him, Kakashi looked completely unconcerned as he turned his gaze toward Chūsuke.
Chūsuke ignored his taunting and merely scanned the surroundings before his eye flew wide with rage. "Lord Mifune!"
An unconscious samurai hung from a nearby tree, with a ring of groaning samurai sprawled around him.
The samurai hanging there was none other than Mifune.
The groaning samurai were proof that Kakashi had left a whole slew of traps nearby. Chūsuke fought back his rage. "Kakashi..."
"All right, all right, stop shouting. I'm just a clone."
Kakashi waved a hand. "You refuse to withdraw from the Shinobi War, and you sent so many men after me. Why would I bring the real Mifune here?"
With that, Kakashi snapped his fingers.
Poof.
The hanging Mifune vanished in a puff of smoke, revealing Kakashi's appearance.
"Your Lord Mifune is badly injured. He won't last much longer.
