"What happened?" Madara opened the car door and stepped out, staring in bewilderment at the ball of string lying on the ground.
"Don't... leave... without... a million... you... you're not going anywhere..." The ball of string spoke in broken gasps...
"..."
And so, the ball of string lying on the ground extorted a million from Madara... and made him cover all its hospital expenses...
Lying in a bed in the hospital's most expensive, top-tier VIP room, Kakuzu laughed with delight. He seemed to have discovered a way to make money fast...
A few days later, Kakuzu was discharged. With his injury assessment report in hand, he headed out onto the street and began his search for a fated encounter...
At noon, Kakuzu set his sights on some unlucky fellow. Well, well, this guy's car wasn't cheap either. It was actually the latest Lamborghini.
He had no choice. Kakuzu was looking for someone driving slowly in a luxury car. After staking out the street all morning, he'd finally found one. This was his guy.
Entirely self-taught, Kakuzu lay down, stuck out his foot, and turned his head to prepare a scream, all in one smooth motion.
But the scene Kakuzu had imagined, where the car stopped and the driver got out to compensate him, never happened. Instead, as though the driver hadn't seen Kakuzu on the ground, the car drove straight over him...
"Aaah!" The front wheels rolled over him...
"Huh? What was that sound?" Hashirama suddenly heard a scream from inside the car. He rolled down the window and looked in the mirror.
"Huh? There's nothing there. Oh well, I borrowed Madara's car, so I'd better hurry up and return it." Seeing nothing behind him in the mirror, Hashirama shook his head, then quickly stepped on the gas.
"Aaah!"
