They had planned to find the enemy's homeworld and occupy it for a while. Great, now one Heavenly Obstacle Shit Star had wiped the whole place out? Who were they supposed to complain to about that?
"According to Master Kagami here, the powerful people on the Ōtsutsuki Planet wouldn't actually have died," Ōtsutsuki Moon said from beside them.
"A whole damn planet exploded out in space, and people could still survive?" Dave asked in astonishment.
"Absolutely. With my strength, I only counted as an auxiliary member of the clan. Oh, that means the sort of cannon fodder that died under Master Kagami's attack. But anyone two or three levels above me could generally escape successfully, and from what I remember, there were hundreds, if not thousands, of them," Ōtsutsuki Moon said, shaking his head.
"So their homeworld's gone, but their accumulated resources are still around?" Dave's eyes lit up.
The flames blazing in Kakuzu's eyes burned even hotter... Resources... That meant money, right?
"And our clan already rules the universe. There's one member of our clan who's the closest thing to a god. Seriously, Brother Dave, I'm not exaggerating. Our group really couldn't beat him," Ōtsutsuki Moon said helplessly.
"Tell me, does this god have money?" Kakuzu stood up and turned to look calmly at Ōtsutsuki Moon.
"Uh... Money... Who knows how many ages that being has lived? As for money... Maybe all the money in the universe put together wouldn't match his?" Ōtsutsuki Moon paused, then answered after some thought.
"If you're willing to risk your neck, even an emperor can be dragged off his throne. Who cares whether he's a god?" Boundless light gleamed in Kakuzu's eyes. His gloom vanished in an instant, replaced by endless
