"Chief, the detention center's getting a little crowded, isn't it?" Shuiwen said, looking at the expressionless Fugaku with mixed feelings.
"It's fine, isn't it? How many people from that group have we arrested now?" Fugaku asked indifferently.
The big day was approaching, and Fugaku had to ensure Konoha's safety. He absolutely could not tolerate any outlaw roaming free in Konoha. He was determined to give Mikoto the safest possible wedding!
I, Fugaku, am the final line of defense for Konoha law.
"Fugaku! Let me out! I still have an IV drip scheduled this afternoon!" Kagami was currently lying in the detention center, hospital bed and all. Taking his illness into consideration, Fugaku had very humanely brought both him and his hospital bed into custody.
Fugaku was, after all, a humane chief of the Uchiha Police Station. How could he possibly mistreat a patient? He had even specially arranged a private cell for Kagami.
Normally, the private cells housed two people each. Now that things were so crowded, each one held four. Considering that Kagami had an entire cell to himself, no one could go around saying that Fugaku mistreated the elderly...
"We've arrested 484 people in total. There are sixteen left," Shuiwen said slowly, looking at the list in his hands.
"How are there still so many slipping through the net?!" Fugaku asked in astonishment.
"One of them is Uncle Hiruzen Sarutobi. Given his strength and reputation, the veteran cops could handle him without much trouble, but the problem is that we're short on manpower now. Those veteran cops have all been transferred to the Konoha Star branch. Today's the day they report for duty over there. We don't have anyone left," Shuiwen said with a helpless shrug.
"What about the other fifteen? We still haven't caught them?" Fugaku asked,
