Deidara examined the wound Naruto's Rasenshuriken had carved into his chest, then looked at Naruto with blood in his mouth. He also surveyed the destruction Naruto's Rasenshuriken had caused.
Damn it. I actually thought his attack was more artistic. The penetrating power of Naruto's attack surpassed even Deidara's explosions.
"This power of mine is called Sage Mode. I only fully mastered it recently."
Looking at Deidara, who had already exhausted his options, Naruto gave a confident smile.
"Looks like it's over."
While Naruto and Deidara faced off, Kakashi arrived at the scene. Even he silently gasped at the devastation Naruto's Rasenshuriken had wrought.
He remembered how, during the Chunin Ninja Exams, Naruto had prepared to use Nine-Tails chakra against Sasuke. Had he already reached this level? It was a good thing Sasuke was a monster too.
"Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, what's your name?"
Seeing that Kakashi had arrived as well, Deidara smiled, then turned to Naruto.
"Naruto Uzumaki. Remember it! I'm going to become the Sixth Hokage!"
Naruto readily gave his name. Deidara responded with a scornful smile.
"The Sixth Hokage? Heh heh heh. You won't get the chance, Naruto Uzumaki. But you'll have the honor of witnessing my most perfect art, so your life won't have been a total waste!"
Knowing he couldn't escape Naruto in Sage Mode, Deidara simply gave up on running. With Kakashi and Naruto both before him, he stuffed the last of the explosive clay in his pocket into the enormous mouth on his chest.
"It's a shame I have so little clay left. But even this much can create a bomb with a five-kilometer blast radius. Forget being the Sixth Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki. You have no future! Today, you'll die beneath my greatest masterpiece! **Art is
