Hokage Madara had brought few people with him on this visit to the Land of Fire's Capital. Sasuke and Neji were the two who followed close behind him.
As a political animal, Aoyama naturally understood the weight Neji and Sasuke carried within Hokage Madara's team, so Neji's sudden question did not anger him.
"May I ask you two, what is the Land of Fire's most pressing task?"
"To unite the Five Great Nations and wipe out the Akatsuki, of course."
Sasuke was somewhat puzzled by Aoyama's question, whose answer he clearly already knew. After all, that very goal was why Sasuke had stopped him from plotting against the other nations.
"Correct. Unite the Five Great Nations and wipe out the Akatsuki. Then how should we unite the Five Great Nations?"
Before Sasuke and Neji, Aoyama became a patient tutor, but his two students clearly still could not adjust their thinking.
Faced with Aoyama's question, Sasuke and Neji had no answer.
"Among the Five Great Nations, the Land of Fire is the exception because the Hokage, Lord Shinhiko, and Lord Yuanxin trust one another. The surviving officials in the other great nations presumably don't trust their ninja. Their countries must be in chaos right now."
While Sasuke and Neji were thinking, a boy wearing a Konoha ninja vest, his hair tied in a ponytail, sighed and stepped forward.
He was Shikamaru Nara, one of those accompanying Hokage Madara on this trip.
"We can't form alliances with countries in chaos. Before we can unite the Five Great Nations and wipe out the Akatsuki, we have to wait for the other four great nations to reach an internal consensus.
