Replacing the Cursed Seal

After hearing Madara Uchiha's words, Hayato Hyuga could not calm himself for a long time. The sheer shock he felt even temporarily eclipsed his grief over his teacher's death.

In Hayato's mind, however gifted Madara Uchiha might be, however much stronger he was, he was still a child younger than Hayato himself. Most of the time, Hayato still thought of Madara as a peer.
