The zombie siege was devastatingly brutal.

Listening to the thud, thud, thud against the iron door, everyone stared at it in terror, not daring to let their guard down.

Liu Feng waved a hand, and Han Bing brought out the supplies they had prepared in advance, barricading the iron door securely. Only once everything was in place did everyone breathe a sigh of relief.

"All right, we should be fine here. Everyone, head up to the roof first. It's safer there."

At Liu Feng's words, everyone turned around and dragged their exhausted bodies toward the roof, struggling with every step.

After the battle, everyone's spirits were heavy.

Little Knife followed behind Liu Feng, making her way toward the roof with a heart full of apprehension.

Han Bing had already stationed guards by the entrance downstairs. They worked in three rotating shifts, ready to alert everyone on the roof immediately if anything happened to the iron door.

Up on the roof.

Liu Feng stood beside the railing, looking down at the sea of zombies surrounding them, his brows drawing together slightly.

With so many zombies, it would take at least a week for them all to disperse.

Fortunately, the supplies on the roof were plentiful enough to sustain them here for about a week.

Just then, a familiar face suddenly entered Liu Feng's field of vision.

A zombie with hollow eyes and exposed bones on its hands stood atop a pickup truck in the camp courtyard.

Liu Feng jolted, alarm shooting through his heart.

The Zombie Commander!

At that moment, the Zombie Commander seemed to notice Liu Feng as well.

"Roar, roar, roar..."

At its furious roar, the zombies downstairs instantly erupted into a frenzy. They raised their arms and roared along with the Zombie Commander, their cries reaching the sky and forcing everyone on the roof to cover their ears.

Han Bing hurried to Liu Feng's side and turned to look at the zombies below.

"What the fuck are they doing?"

Liu Feng paused, then said quietly, his expression grim, "They're probably building a ladder."

"A ladder?" Han Bing looked utterly bewildered. "Are you saying they want to climb over one another's bodies and get straight into the second floor?"

"No way. How could zombies be that smart?"

"Exactly. They're just mindless walking corpses."

"Besides, even if that's true, the second-floor windows have security bars. They can't get in."

Listening to the laughter around him, Liu Feng's face darkened as he struggled to contain his anger.

He swept his gaze over the crowd, and no one dared say another word.

"Han Bing, take a few reliable men right now and guard the windows in every room on the third floor. If you can't hold them off, don't get bogged down fighting. Retreat straight to the fourth floor!"

Han Bing nodded solemnly without the slightest hesitation, then led more than a dozen men downstairs at a run.

The people on the roof weren't idle either. Under Liu Feng's direction, they began to fight back.

Boom!

The Rocket Launcher was tremendously powerful, blasting a huge gap in the Zombie Tide almost instantly. Inside that gap lay a mangled mass of flesh and blood.

But under the Zombie Commander's direction, another group of zombies soon filled the bloody gap.

Fatty hurried over to Liu Feng with the Rocket Launcher on his shoulder, anxiety written all over his face.

"Feng, we're almost out of Rocket!"

Liu Feng kept his gaze focused and replied calmly, "Then use them sparingly."

"Feng, we don't have many bullets left either."

At those words, Liu Feng's heart gave an involuntary jolt. He glanced at the ammunition stockpile beneath the tent on the roof. Before he knew it, only two trays of bullets remained.

"Fuck! Where are Feng Wen and Feng Wu?"

"Feng, we're over here."

The Feng brothers poked their heads out of the crowd. Sweat covered their faces as they polished the bullets in their hands.

"What's going on? How are we going through bullets so fast?"

Facing Liu Feng's angry expression, Feng Wen wiped the sweat from his forehead and said helplessly, "Feng, it's not that we're slacking off. There are just too many zombies down there. We simply can't make bullets as fast as everyone's using them!"

Hearing that, Liu Feng's tightly knitted brows gradually relaxed.

That was true. No one had expected the Zombie Tide to turn back. With zombies as countless as the water in the sea, bullets alone could never solve the problem.

"Once we run out of bullets, won't that mean..."

Fatty trailed off and lowered his head in frustration.

Just as despair threatened to swallow everyone, a voice suddenly broke the silence.

"F-Feng." Feng Wu nervously raised his head and pointed at the supplies beside the tent. "I saw a few cases of aged liquor over there. Maybe we could make some simple Incendiary Bombs to tide us over!"

"Incendiary Bombs!"

In an instant, Liu Feng's dark eyes lit up.

"Feng, that liquor's been stored for almost half a century. Are you sure..."

Seeing Fatty's reluctant expression, Liu Feng's lips curved slightly. He patted Fatty's shoulder and said quietly, "Don't worry, Fatty. I'll make sure we save you a bottle!"

At that, Fatty could hardly object further. He nodded helplessly.

The idea of making Incendiary Bombs had caught Liu Feng by surprise. The zombies below were packed tightly together. If an Incendiary Bomb exploded among them, its power would rival that of a Rocket.

Watching the busy Feng brothers, Liu Feng felt a surge of delight.

Looks like I really did strike gold this time.

In the blink of an eye, a simple Incendiary Bomb was ready.

Liu Feng took the lit Incendiary Bomb and hurled it down with all his strength.

Boom!

With a deafening blast, the zombies below were instantly engulfed in a sea of fire.

As the zombies' flesh rotted, most of their bodily fat had seeped to the surface. Once the Incendiary Bomb ignited it, flames spread rapidly through the horde.

Even so, the zombies, incapable of feeling pain, continued obeying the Zombie Commander's orders, climbing madly toward the roof.

In mere moments, the zombies had piled into a small hill at the foot of the building. Those coming up behind stepped on the bodies ahead of them and lunged toward the upper floors like things possessed.

"This won't work! At this rate, they'll definitely reach the third floor!"

Liu Feng's gaze sharpened, and he suddenly spotted the Zombie Commander standing atop the pickup truck.

"Everyone, throw the Incendiary Bombs at that pickup!"

To bring down a rider, shoot his horse first. To defeat the bandits, capture their leader!

Since all these zombies obeyed the Zombie Commander, they would take it out first.

At Liu Feng's command, everyone directed their firepower toward the Zombie Commander on the pickup truck.
