Several dull impacts rang out in succession as Zapdos darted away. Large chunks of rock fell from Terrakion's body, revealing two clear claw marks.
"Chirp!" Compared to Terrakion, Zapdos was incredibly fast. Even without its Electric typing, it still moved like lightning.
"Terrakion, Leer!" Jiang Zhuyue shouted. Its terrifying eyes flashed, making Zapdos briefly falter in its charge.
The next instant, Terrakion charged straight at it. Take Down!
"Bang!" "Chirp!"
A dull impact rang out, followed immediately by Zapdos's cry of pain as it tumbled across the ground.
But before Terrakion could attack again, Zapdos had already struggled to its feet.
With its Fighting typing, Take Down posed little threat to Zapdos. It looked battered, but its rolling had easily dissipated the force of the blow. Then it charged at Terrakion again.
"Chirp!" Zapdos let out a cry. Despite lacking an Electric typing, sparks flickered around its body in a rare display. It raised both talons and slashed at Terrakion again.
Thunderous Kick? Xiao Ran wondered, watching the move he had never seen before.
This was Galarian Zapdos's signature move. It could toy with its opponent through lightning-fast movements before delivering a lethal attack.
Terrakion had only just finished its Take Down and was turning around. There was no denying that a four-legged bovine creature was at a distinct disadvantage when making tight turns.
By the time Terrakion turned around, Zapdos's talons were already right in front of it.
"Moo!" The slash cut deep enough to expose bone. Terrakion cried out in pain, its entire body toppling sideways.
Two bloody gashes appeared across its back. Blood poured out, quickly staining most of its body red and even streaming onto the ground.
"Terrakion!" Jiang Zhuyue's face drained of color. With Zapdos still pressing its attack, she was at a
