The instant Shen Mo saw Shen Zeyu, his expression kept shifting. He would rather anyone else had overheard him. Making a fool of himself in front of Shen Zeyu only made it all the more humiliating.
Shen Mo grew agitated. "What are you doing here?"
"Is it strange for me to be here? Shouldn't I be asking you that?"
Ever since Shen Zeyu appeared, jealousy had consumed Shen Mo. "If it weren't for you, I should have been the one in the arranged marriage. I'm only here to set things right."
Seeing Shen Mo acting as though he had lost his mind, Shen Zeyu mocked him mercilessly. "Have you gone mad? Do you need me to repeat what Lu Cizhou just said?"
At the mention of Lu Cizhou, Shen Mo regained some composure and put on a pitiful expression. "Cizhou, look at my brother. He..."
Lu Cizhou, who had been watching the show since Shen Zeyu appeared, looked disgusted. "I told you not to speak in that tone. It's revolting."
Disbelief spread across Shen Mo's face, as though he had never imagined Lu Cizhou would say something like that. He still wanted to keep up the act.
Lu Cizhou continued, "Keep this up, and I won't mind letting the Chen Family know."
Lu Cizhou did not know everything about Shen Mo's dealings with the Chen Family, but he did happen to know about the arranged marriage.
Hearing the Chen Family mentioned, Shen Mo gradually came to his senses. Shen Zeyu had simply made him so angry that he had decided to try his luck with Lu Cizhou. If he succeeded, he would have no use for the Chen Family anymore.
But now it seemed that Lu Cizhou was a dead end. Naturally, he could not give up on the Chen Family.
Though he was still bitter, there was nothing else he could do. He shot Shen Zeyu a vicious glare before leaving.
"Wait." Shen Zeyu stopped him.
"If this happens again, you won't get off so easily." Did every last one of them really think he had no temper?
Shen Mo dismissed the warning. Shen Zeyu was only relying on Lu Cizhou now. Without Lu Cizhou, what was he worth?
Seeing Shen Mo's dismissive expression, Lu Cizhou spoke quietly. "If there's a next time and he doesn't deal with you, I will."

After Shen Mo left, Lu Cizhou asked, "What brought you over?" Wasn't he supposed to be resting in a corner?
"If I hadn't come over, how would I have caught such a good show?" Shen Zeyu said mildly.

Lu Cizhou had to defend himself over that. "Were you satisfied with how I handled it?"
Shen Zeyu's lips curved slightly. "You did all right." Complaints aside, Lu Cizhou had handled Shen Mo perfectly.
Seeing his reaction, Lu Cizhou felt reassured.
Then Shen Zeyu answered Lu Cizhou's earlier question. "Don't even ask. Another idiot came looking for me over there."
It took Lu Cizhou only a moment to realize it was someone from the Shen Family. "Do you need my help?"
"It's fine. Once we go home, they won't be able to get near me anyway. We'll talk about it if they come back." If they came again, he would have to rely on Lu Cizhou's help, but that would have to wait until the Chen Family abandoned the Shen Family.
Otherwise, Lu Cizhou would have to take on two companies. He might not mind, but Shen Zeyu did, especially now that the Chen Family was steadily growing.
"Ah, that feels good." Once they got home, Shen Zeyu collapsed onto the sofa.
After Shen Mo left, he had spent the whole time following Lu Cizhou around. He was exhausted.
Seeing him like that, Lu Yu climbed onto the sofa. "Papa, I'll massage your shoulders."

Although Lu Yu's strength was nowhere near his own, it was still a thoughtful gesture.
It had been several days since he last picked Lu Yu up. Shen Zeyu thought for a moment. "I'm free tomorrow. How about I come pick you up?"
"Okay!" Lu Yu said happily.
He began working even harder at massaging Shen Zeyu's shoulders.
That night, once Lu Cizhou lay down, Shen Zeyu said, "Let's take Lu Yu to the amusement park this weekend. We promised him before."
"Sure. That works for me."
Shen Zeyu was delighted. "Then I'll tell him tomorrow."
After a while, he added, "If anyone from the Shen Family asks you for help or anything, make sure you don't help them." Judging by the way Lu Cizhou had shut Shen Mo down today, it was unlikely, but he still had to say it.
"Got it." The Shen Family had not treated Shen Zeyu well. In that case, he would not help them either.
But perhaps he should tell the Chen Family about what happened today and let Chen Haoxuan give Shen Mo some trouble, Lu Cizhou thought to himself.
Then Shen Zeyu said with a laugh, "I really never expected you to be so good at putting people in their place. Hahaha!"
Watching Shen Zeyu laugh so hard, Lu Cizhou smiled helplessly. "Who do you think I did that for? You're heartless."
Despite what Lu Cizhou said, Shen Zeyu still could not stop laughing.
When they told Lu Yu the next day that they would take him to the amusement park that weekend, he stayed excited for ages. It had been so long since his last visit. He could not have been happier.
When the weekend finally arrived, Lu Yu hurried over to urge both adults along, afraid that he might not get to go after all.
"Papa, Dad, are you ready yet?"
"We're ready, we're ready." Shen Zeyu and Lu Cizhou came out one after the other.
Lu Yu stepped forward and took both their hands, saying excitedly, "Let's go!"
When the family of three arrived at the amusement park, Shen Zeyu marveled, "There are so many people."
It was the weekend, and lots of parents had brought their children out to play, so naturally it was crowded.
"Should we book the whole place?" Lu Cizhou asked.
Shen Zeyu waved his hands repeatedly. "No, no. It's more fun with people around. It gives the place some atmosphere."

"Papa, I want to go on the trampolines first."

Lu Yu had even less reason to object. Besides, he wanted to ride the bumper cars himself.
When they got there, Shen Zeyu said, "Yuyu and I will team up. You're on your own."
Lu Cizhou had not wanted to ride for his own sake anyway, so he had no objections.
"Sit tight, Yuyu. We're going to start bumping into people."
"Okay."
