Yan Jing Airport
Mo Chengzhou drove Yan Wen and Tang Yun to the airport entrance.
The thought of being apart from Mo Chengzhou for a while left Yan Wen feeling miserable, even though it would only be temporary.
Yan Wen hugged Mo Chengzhou's lean waist and buried his face in his chest. "Why don't you just sneak back with me?"
"Be good. You're just going back first. I'll follow in a couple of days." Mo Chengzhou rested a hand gently against the back of Yan Wen's head. "If you miss me, video call me. Whatever I'm doing, I'll answer."
Yan Wen pulled out of Mo Chengzhou's embrace, lowered his head, and sighed. "All right. We can't ignore Grandpa's wishes either. But once you're done, you have to hurry back."
Mo Chengzhou reached up and pinched Yan Wen's cheek. "As soon as everything's settled, I'll come straight back. It's getting late. Go on inside, and let me know when you get home safely."
Tang Yun slung an arm around Yan Wen's neck. "You two really can't bear to be apart for even fifteen minutes. Let's get inside, or we'll be late. Don't worry, A Yan. My uncle can't bear to be away from you either. He'll be back in a few days."
"Let's hurry inside. Once you're home, you can video call my uncle!"
At first, Tang Yun was pulling Yan Wen along as they ran, but at those words, a spark of excitement flashed in Yan Wen's eyes. He quickened his pace and became the one dragging Tang Yun along.
