The screen suddenly switched to an incoming call, and Mo Chengzhou answered. "Dad."
Mo Bei's naturally commanding voice came through the receiver. "Xiao Zhou, did you secure that plot in Weicheng at the auction? Everything went smoothly, I hope?"
"Everything went smoothly. We've secured the land, and if no other issues come up, construction can begin in six months."
Mo Bei sounded pleased. "I never have to worry when you're handling things. Oh, your fourth sister told me that A Yun has been showing you around Weicheng these past few days. You're his elder, so keep an eye on him."
Mo Chengzhou chuckled. "Don't worry, Dad. Xiao Yun has a friend keeping him in line."
"A friend? Whose child?"
"The youngest son of the Mu Family in Weicheng. His name is Mu Yanwen."
"Mu Yanwen." Mo Bei repeated the name approvingly. "I know of that boy. The Mu Family only found him a little while ago. He really is a good kid. A Yun should learn plenty of good things by being friends with him."
"I have things to deal with at the company tomorrow, so I can't stay up any longer. Let's talk tomorrow."
"All right. Get some rest, and let Mom know I'm doing fine."
Mo Chengzhou returned to the desk and opened his laptop to handle work. He had an online meeting at noon the next day, so he called his assistant over to brief him on recent developments he would need for the meeting.
His assistant was staying in the room next door and arrived a few minutes later.
After listening to the report, Mo Chengzhou rubbed his brow. "Make a note of the issues. Have the relevant departments come up with solutions at tomorrow's meeting."
"Understood."
