Bad luck even in games?

Early the next morning, Yan Wen and the others said goodbye to Old Master Gao and Gao Jianjun and returned to the Mu Family.

The driver was already waiting outside the Gao Family's old residence. The four of them got into the car, and the driver started the engine, kicking up a cloud of dust.

Old Master Gao told Gao Jianjun, "Don't let anyone else find out about what happened yesterday."

"Understood."

"Also, keep a closer eye on Xiao Zhen for the time being."

Gao Jianjun nodded slightly. "Yes."

Old Master Gao sighed silently. "I hope he won't disappoint me."

After two or three hours on the road, the car arrived at the Mu Family villa. Seeing the three boys return, Xie Yunshu hurried over to greet them.

"You're back? Have you eaten? Are you hungry?"

Yan Wen kept nodding at Xie Yunshu's questions. "Mom, we ate at the Gao Family's place. We're not hungry."

"All right, then. Did you sleep well? Do you want to get some more rest? I'll call you for dinner."

Yan Wen had planned to return to his room, shower, and rest for a while, so he agreed. "I'll head up to my room, then. I'll take Tang Zi and Yuyang with me to hang out."

"Go ahead. I'll come get you when dinner's ready."

Yan Wen opened his bedroom door to let the two of them in, then walked into the bathroom. "Make yourselves comfortable. I'm going to shower."

Tang Yun looked around curiously at the furnishings. A square flush-mount light was installed on the ceiling. A laptop sat on the desk, alongside paper, pens, a drinking glass, and a few little trinkets. Beside it stood a bookcase a little over a meter tall, with a cupboard in its lower half.
