Zhang Cheng went through every Diamond-tier mission posted by the League, but still failed to find one suitable for him.
Diamond-tier missions paid very well, offering rewards of several million Pokémon Coins upon completion. However, they were also extremely difficult, and the Pokémon involved were generally around level 50.
At present, Zhang Cheng's four Pokémon had only just reached level 40, so their chances of beating a level 50 Pokémon were slim.
Just as Zhang Cheng was about to give up on Diamond-tier missions and return to Platinum-tier ones, he suddenly remembered how he used to team up with others to take on higher-level missions. He could try doing that again.
With that in mind, Zhang Cheng continued browsing the Diamond-tier missions and soon found one that allowed a team. It required three members in total, and two had already signed up, leaving just one spot open.
Zhang Cheng opened the detailed mission description and discovered that the objective was to eliminate a Poison Toxicroak near the Jade River. This Toxicroak frequently attacked wild Pokémon and passing Trainers, causing serious problems for the area.
The Poison Toxicroak was level 46. To join the team, applicants had to have at least three Pokémon above level 36. Zhang Cheng easily met the recruitment requirements.
Completing the mission would earn them two million Pokémon Coins. Split evenly among three people, that came to roughly 670,000 each.
Zhang Cheng was quite satisfied with the reward. Compared with Platinum-tier missions, Diamond-tier missions were incredibly lucrative. If someone completed this mission alone, they would receive the full two million Pokémon Coins.
After reviewing the mission's details, Zhang Cheng promptly accepted it.
Once he had successfully accepted the mission, the mission terminal displayed the names and contact information of the other two Trainers.
