(The latter part of this chapter depicts hallucinations, and all characters appearing in them are adults.)
"That cocky?" Zhang Xiu blinked, then chuckled again.
"Then I'll have to do something." He swept his right hand, and powerful path power enveloped Asland, diminishing his presence.
In everyone else's eyes, Asland vanished into thin air, and they immediately suspected Zhang Xiu, who had just clashed with him.
But Zhang Xiu also made a show of blinking. "Huh? Where'd he go?"
As he spoke, he grabbed Asland by the collar and hurled him high into the sky.
"Have you seen Asland?" Zhang Xiu and Yaoshi looked at the people in line, stifling their laughter.
A scream came from the sky, drawing closer and closer. Asland plummeted after being tossed high into the air. Just as he was about to hit the ground, Zhang Xiu caught him and threw him skyward again.
Throughout this process, no one noticed his presence-not even his scream.
After doing this, Zhang Xiu even spread his hands toward the crowd in apparent confusion.
"Where is he?"
Yaoshi played along. "I haven't seen him either."
Just then, the customer who had been inside the Extreme Experience walked out. He looked utterly dejected, his head hanging so low it almost touched the ground. Without paying any attention to the commotion, he left.
Another scream descended, and Zhang Xiu kicked him high into the sky again.
"Is he behind us?"
When Asland landed again, Zhang Xiu finally lost it. He walked straight into the Extreme Experience, laughing along with Yaoshi, and withdrew the path power covering Asland as he went.
Once inside, he slowly exhaled and began looking over the decor.
