The Sun Never Sets Team reached Heaven Dou City, trained at its academy, and hunted Soul Beasts in Sunset Forest, gaining new Soul Rings and abilities. Lin Chen and Mo Yuan entered the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, where Lin Chen refined two Immortal Herbs as the team waited for their return.

• Hou Qingming stayed at the Suotuo branch academy while Mo Yuan led the Sun Never Sets Team toward Heaven Dou City, training them by running to exhaustion and recovering their Soul Power.
• Mo Yuan and the team found a village under attack by Evil Soul Masters, defeated the attackers, aided survivors, and attended the victims’ funeral.
• At Heaven Dou City’s Advanced Soul Master Academy, the dean arranged private dormitories and a Mimicry Training Ground, where the team trained until most members reached level forty.
• Mo Yuan and Zhao Tian escorted the team into Sunset Forest, where Zhang Ting gained a fourth Soul Ring from an eight-thousand-year Ghost Tiger and Tie Zhan gained one from a nine-thousand-year Earth Bear.
• Lin Chen and Yang Ke absorbed Soul Rings from a ten-thousand-year Rock Fox and a mutated Four-Eyed Scale Armor Beast, while Lin Chen reached level forty-three and demonstrated his fourth Soul Skill.
• The team found a pure-gold Mutated Sunset Bee for Li Jiaojiao, who gained a deep-purple Soul Ring and an external soul bone in the form of golden wings.
• Lin Chen led Mo Yuan to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, where Lin Chen swallowed the Octagonal Mysterious Ice Grass and Infernal Delicate Apricot and began refining them underwater.
• Mo Yuan guarded Lin Chen and used his Martial Soul Avatar to endure the well’s spiritual energy, while Zhu Zhuqing anxiously waited for them to return.

Lin Chen returned home, reunited with his family, and secretly recovered Ah Yin’s true body and Soul Bone. After learning that Tang Hao and Dugu Bo might be involved with Tang San, Lin Chen and Mo Yuan delivered Ah Yin to Spirit Hall and revealed the identities behind her hidden past.

• The Shrek Seven Devils defeated the Fierce God Team with their Zhuge Repeating Crossbows while Lin Chen and Mo Yuan cultivated and gathered Immortal Herbs in the Sunset Forest.
• Lin Chen and his teammates returned to Heaven Dou City, where Zhao Tian tried and failed to recruit Qin Ming and the Shrek group for Spirit Hall.
• Lin Chen distributed the Immortal Herbs among his teammates, strengthening several of them and helping Mo Yu’s Golden Kite evolve into the Azure Luan.
• Lin Chen traveled with Zhu Zhuqing to Nuoding City, reunited with his parents, and met his little sister Su Su.
