How were Robin and Stelle doing?
Well, Jiang Yao knew.
He really did know.
Seriously, did anyone actually think his avatars were just for show?
For some very personal reasons.
Jiang Yao was genuinely curious about this part of the story.
Because back then, this stretch of the plot had seemed strange no matter how he looked at it.
The presentation had admittedly been excellent.
But that couldn't hide how lousy the script was.
If version 2.3 could tie things together, expanding on Order (Sunday), Harmony (Robin), and existence (Firefly) in a more spectacular way.
Then it would undoubtedly be legendary.
Even if they wanted to be cryptic, that was fine! What would have been wrong with adding some True Sting elements?
And the result?
A third death that was an absolute joke.
They really would have been better off separating Firefly and Sam, making the former a Penacony native whose frailty yet resilience earned the latter's recognition, allowing her to inherit the name Sam.
Hey, that would have incorporated both Harmony and existence.
Wouldn't that have been great?
The plot would have flowed better, too, while Robin, the featured character, would have had both strong characterization and power.
And the result?
That was it? That was it? That was it?
Jiang Yao genuinely felt Firefly was far more resilient than the story portrayed her.
She was someone at roughly the same stage as an early Raiden Mei!
Once she saw through it all and found the meaning of her existence.
Then wouldn't she be like Acheron, a warrior who carried everything of an entire nation on her shoulders and kept living?
Throw in her usual sweet, endearing side, and there was the contrast, too!
Wouldn't that make her even more lovable?
So Jiang Yao turned his attention to her.
