Jiang Yao prepared a powerful roast for the Luofu, then pursued Phantylia after she damaged his new ingredients amid her attack on the Xianzhou. He forced Phantylia to help cook Buddha Jumps Over the Wall and left Jingliu wondering what he truly was.

• Jiang Yao prepared the Shataan Bird with help from Stelle, March 7th, Jing Yuan, and Himeko, whose orbital weapon ignited the roast.
• The diners and Cloud Knights ate the Shataan Bird, which eased Jing Yuan’s mara-struck condition and gave Stelle a boost, while Jiang Yao found its effects weaker than expected.
• After Phantylia attacked the staff carrying his new ingredients, Jiang Yao frightened her, gave Jingliu an Entwined Fate, and later knocked Jingliu unconscious when her mara-struck condition surged.
• Jing Yuan and the Astral Express crew fought Phantylia as she took the Ambrosial Arbor and fled, while Jiang Yao revealed that she was inside his stomach and waited for her to refine it further.
• Jiang Yao stopped Phantylia and forced her to help him cook, ordering her to provide heat and use her power to improve the ingredients.
• Jiang Yao repaired the Bell-Ringing Turtle’s bell and prepared it with the Blazing Tree and Prickly Rose Mushroom, using Jingliu’s ice power for water.

Jiang Yao survived Phantylia’s attack and used his cooking to strengthen the people around him, while drawing the Astral Express crew and the Xianzhou into his orbit. After feeding them Hoolay meat, he agreed to discuss its benefits and postponed meeting Ruan Mei until after the planned trip to Penacony.

• Jiang Yao revealed himself as an Aeon, released Jingliu after swallowing her, and later reunited with the Astral Express crew, who had believed he was dead.
• Jiang Yao fed Jingliu, Himeko, the Astral Express crew, Jing Yuan, and Fu Xuan Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, which eased their troubles and increased their strength.
• Firefly and Ruan Mei tasted True Sting Pupae from Jiang Yao’s Light Cones, and their powerful reactions advanced Jiang Yao’s Path Power.
• Jing Yuan tasked Fu Xuan with showing the Astral Express crew around the Luofu, while Jingliu resolved to atone to Jiang Yao and Luocha left intending to betray her.
• Jiang Yao took Jingliu to the Prison of Deep Seclusion, subdued Hoolay, and captured Phantylia when she tried to flee.
