Caught off guard, the Thunderbird King fell into the Taiji Diagram, and Xuanming immediately beat a drowning dog.
He beckoned the Pure Bright Bell over and shook it incessantly. Its resounding tolls battered the Thunderbird King's Primordial Spirit. The Demon Race had stronger bodies than Primordial Spirits; striking a weak point was never a mistake.
At the same time, he unleashed the great divine ability Reversing Yin and Yang and unfurled his Primordial Unity Dao Domain. Up and down became disordered within the Taiji Diagram, and the four directions were inverted.
Within the Primordial Unity Dao Domain, Primordial Chaos Qi evolved into endless earth, wind, water, and fire. Reversal turned to harmony, showing something of the signs of a world being born.
This overturned the Thunderbird King's previous understanding of the Primordial Unity Dao Domain and the Taiji Diagram, forcing him to spend more time adapting.
He also had to devote energy and attention to regrowing half his head. A Demon King's vitality was formidable.
He also freed his left hand and waved his fly-whisk. Three thousand silver strands surged in length, sweeping across heaven and earth as they rushed straight toward the Black Dragon.
The latter resisted with all his might while continuing to withdraw.
But he was only an ordinary Demon King. Even at his peak, he had been no match for Xuanming, much less now that he was gravely wounded.
After only a few exchanges, Xuanming swept him away with a wave of his sleeve, suppressing him within Taiji Heaven to keep the other Demon Kings company.
He gathered the Blackwater Mystic Serpent's remnant soul along the way.
He kept his word and would help him reincarnate.
With that done, Xuanming focused on dealing with the Thunderbird King.
