Jiang Yang uncovered the schemes behind the raids and Beast Tide, then learned that the turmoil was meant to draw Huai Tan Palace from the Great Void. As the palace descended, Xuan Guang revealed that Fang Xu had been turned into one of its Five Keys and brought Jiang Yang to the gathering at Heqibo.

• Jiang Yang and Zang Yu captured Zou Cheng, defeated the five Zou Household cultivators sent to rescue him, and delivered him to Zhi Yu for questioning.
• After escorting Spirit Boats, Jiang Yang investigated the Beast Tide, killed six Demon Generals, and learned from Yun Zhen and Ying Huang that the attacks were intended to unsettle Huai Tan Palace.
• Yun Zhen, Ying Huang, and Mo Yu traveled with Jiang Yang to Heqibo, where Yuanmei used five Xun Wood cultivators, including Fang Xu, to pull Huai Tan Palace out of the Great Void.
• Feng Yi agreed to let Jiang Yang enter the Grotto-Heaven with Yun Zhen and Ying Huang, but Xuan Guang took Jiang Yang aside and warned him that Rain Xiang Mountain already had a share in it.
• Xuan Guang told Jiang Yang that the Luan-kind had made Fang Xu the most important of the Five Keys and that Fang Xu's imagined fellow explorers had never existed.
• Xuan Guang brought Jiang Yang through a rift to Heqibo, where Jiang Yang met Xuan Di, Zhi Yu, Chu Qingjian, Zhang Yunbai, and Yu Xiuyuan as part of Huai Tan Palace began to fall.

Jiang Yang entered Huai Tan Palace, claimed rare treasures, and discovered Azure Corner Heaven, where he met Qing He, the remnant behind Bai Tang. He agreed to help Qing He reincarnate and left with her plan to seek Dao Canon caches.

• Xuan Guang healed Yu Xiuyuan, then brought Jiang Yang, Chu Qingjian, and Zhang Yunbai to Huai Tan Palace as it opened.
• Jiang Yang claimed treasures in the palace, fought Gong Chudan and Su Han, and joined Chu Qingjian in securing Purple Mansion spirit thunder.
• Jiang Yang and Chu Qingjian reunited with Yun Zhen and Ying Huang beneath the Void Star Spirit Locust Tree, then pursued its scattered blossoms and Spirit Seeds as the tree rose.
• Jiang Yang helped Chu Qingjian fight Jing Chen and Jing Wu, while Feng Yi extracted the spirit locust and exposed the sealed entrance to a grotto-heaven.
• Jiang Yang entered Azure Corner Heaven through the Ten Thousand Ravines, Pine Winds Painting, searched Langhuan Pavilion, and copied rare cultivation methods and spells.
• At the Pearl Hall, Qing He revealed that she and Bai Tang were one and the same, and that she was a remnant of True Lord Qing Tang trapped by the Primordial Three Immortal Platforms.
• Qing He merged Bai Tang into Jiang Yang to help break the platforms, then explained her thunder-wood inheritance and her plan to attain cracking wood anew.
• Qing He asked Jiang Yang to help her reincarnate safely so she could restore the wood path, and he agreed before they planned to seek Dao Canon caches.

Jiang Yang explored the Grotto-Heaven, gained its treasures and sword intent, then escaped Guang'e with Jiang Li before rejoining Xuan Guang. Back at the Sect, Xuan Guang began seeking a new cultivation path, while Jiang Yang prepared for Qing He’s reincarnation and sorted his gains.

• Xuan Guang stayed outside the Grotto-Heaven under Chang Geng’s Immortal Edict while Jiang Yang and Qing He explored its palaces and recovered rare treasures.
• Qing He killed Wen Hu after he attacked Jiang Yang, and Jiang Yang took his Wu-Xu Guarded Simplicity Seal and other possessions.
• Jiang Yang gathered treasures from a hidden abode, then escaped Demon King Guang'e with Jiang Li’s help and refused Jiang Li’s offer for the Heart-Aiding Formula.
• Xuan Guang arrived, recognized Jiang Yang’s sword intent, and brought him back near Huai Tan Palace, where Jiang Yang asked about finding a cultivator to help Qing He reach the Nether Bureau.
• Xuan Di and Zhi Yu returned from the Grotto-Heaven, and Jiang Yang gave Xuan Guang the Heart-Aiding Formula he had found in the Langhuan Pavilion.
• Xuan Guang described his past and considered pursuing Gold-Seeking, then agreed to cultivate the Gui Water art after Qing He offered a method for cracking wood.
• Xuan Guang mourned Li Xia, celebrated Lin Daoqiu’s ascension and accepted Jiang Yang’s Lush Jade Branch as a loan before Jiang Yang left to prepare for Qing He’s reincarnation.

Jiang Yang helped Bai Tang enter reincarnation, then traveled to Dragonkind to obtain spirit thunder for Chu Qingjian. As war spread through the Zheng Kingdom, he crossed the mortal lands and continued toward Duguang to visit Tai Pei'er.

• Shang Qingzheng’s breakthrough brought Jiang Yang to Foundation Establishment Late Stage, and he later gave her a divine cultivation scroll, musical scores, a mystic fan, and a Mystic Star Locust Blossom.
• Jiang Yang and Xuan Yan borrowed the Upstream Netherglow Wall and crossed the Heli Heavenly Abyss into the Nether Bureau, where Jiang Yang cast Bai Du into the River of Forgetfulness so Bai Tang could reincarnate.
• Jiang Yang visited Yuan Jun and obtained Divine-Resonance Jun Thunder for Chu Qingjian, while Yuan Jun accepted his Armor-Piercing White Thunder and gave him more thunder to deliver as a gift.
• Traveling through the Zheng Kingdom, Jiang Yang learned that war had been announced and saw the Zhai Clan recruit cultivators for a campaign against the Northern Di.
• Jiang Yang visited Xie Wenzhao in Xielin Commandery and refused to provide information about the High Sect’s war plans.
• Jiang Yang scattered Xie Leran’s travel gift over the city, then crossed into Duguang to visit Tai Pei'er.
