Shang Qingzheng wore a luminous white dress that extended past her knees, with sleeves reaching her wrists, its drifting folds lending her the air of an immortal.
After reaching Foundation Establishment, her bearing had grown even more otherworldly. Now she stood proudly in the hall, radiant and spirited, her brows brimming with joy.
Wildcat Sixteen stood upright on its hind legs, its listless eyelids drooping. Its two snowy paws were pressed together, bobbing up and down in halfhearted prayer.
The corners of Shang Qingzheng's lips curved upward. She bent down to pat the Wildcat's head and said with a smile:
"You really don't need to pray anymore. He made his breakthrough ages ago, much faster than I did!"

Little Sixteen's eyes instantly widened at the news, and it began yowling with delight.

As she spoke, she flicked its little head with a finger and said with a trace of jealousy:
"Hmph! Someone remembered your contribution and specifically mentioned wanting to see you in his letter. Even I didn't get that treatment..."

Little Sixteen tilted its head at her, bewildered.
