Resurrection and Life at the Carefree Sect

Yang You’er was resurrected through netherworld divine grass and lost her memories. When she appears as a woman in black, she insists that Yang Xiao feels familiar, although neither can explain the connection. Yang Xiao subsequently gives her his surname and the name Yang You’er 29 30.

She follows him persistently and brings him meals every day. After half a month learning from Lei Miaoyan, she becomes an accomplished cook. She accompanies Yang Xiao and the Lei siblings when Chen Wuyou sends them away from the increasingly endangered Carefree Sect 30.

Journey to Slaughter Heaven City

After the Carefree Sect’s destruction, Yang Xiao takes responsibility for You’er and travels with her toward Slaughter Heaven City. Although she is the stronger cultivator, he treats her as a vulnerable younger sister, warning her against strangers and arranging safe lodgings 32.
