Background / History
Origin and Fragmentation
Before the Primordial Era, a war between gods and devils shattered a complete world. The Eternal Immortal Domain survived as its largest fragment, retaining abundant spiritual energy, complete laws, and an interconnected Great Dao. It was itself broken into smaller fragments, giving rise to the Three Thousand Dao Domains 504 505.
The Outer Chaos is another remnant of the same world, but its Great Dao and laws are incomplete. Its conditions produced countless dark lifeforms, which have invaded the Eternal Immortal Domain every few epochs. The resulting conflict has continued from the Primordial Era into the present 505.
Ancient Wars and Sealed Enemies
The Eternal Immortal Domain also fought an ancient war against the Myriad Heavens North Sea. The Heavenly Tomb contains the remains of Divine Generals who died in that conflict. During the Mythic Era, the Eternal Ye Family helped seal the World-Annihilating King, whose subsequent plans target Ye Tian in revenge 542 574 576.
The Ye Family separately sealed the Outer Chaos’s former supreme Great Evil God. As the Age of Great Contention approaches, that seal shows signs of weakening, while the Outer Chaos becomes increasingly active along the frontiers 611.
Possible Reunification
The Purple Star Female Emperor warns that the Myriad Heavens and Worlds may coalesce again, restoring the world that existed before the Primordial Era. She presents this as a possibility rather than an accomplished event, and expects the Outer Chaos to resist it 505.
She also explains that the contemporary God Emperor Realm is only the initial stage of the older Supreme Emperor level. The Eternal Immortal Domain, as a fragment, cannot withstand the stages beyond that level 505.
Geography and Environment
Three Thousand Dao Domains
Each Dao Domain is a great universe in its own right. Together, they form the Eternal Immortal Domain; individual Dao Domain Universes contain countless trillions of living beings 159 392.
| Region | Documented Features |
|---|---|
| Heavenly Profound Dao Domain | Contains Imperial Pole Province, the Eternal Ye Family’s residence 1. |
| Divine Dragon Province | Located within the Heavenly Profound Dao Domain; dominated by the Ancestral Dragon Nest and inhabited by powerful Fierce Beasts 372. |
| Heavenly Mechanism Dao Domain | Houses the Heavenly Mechanism Sacred Land at its center, surrounded by mountains and protected by a Primordial Killing Formation 118. |
| Golden Turtle Domain | Setting of the struggle over the Myriad Saints Treasure Land between local sects, a sacred land, and a dynasty 153 154. |
| Mystic Dao Domain | Ye Tian’s group arrives here after returning from the lower realm; it remains extremely far from the Heavenly Profound Dao Domain 348. |
| Jade Dragon Dao Domain | Home to the allied Nangong, Ximen, Beiming, and Dongfang families. The Nangong Family rules its southern region 400. |
| Shattered World Thunder Sea | A hazardous boundary separating the Eternal Immortal Domain from the Myriad Heavens North Sea 984. |
Landscape and Spiritual Resources
- Stellar essence: Billions of stars follow ancient trajectories and pour down streams of rich stellar essence 984.
- Divine islands and immortal mountains: These occupy the cloud seas of the Nine Heavens; individual formations can be as vast as a lower-realm star domain 984.
- Immortal Spirit Lakes: Golden divine waterfalls descend into these lakes, producing seven-colored mist 984.
- Ancient wildlife: Nine-winged Primordial Divine Birds traverse the skies, while powerful beasts compete for territory and resources 372 984.
- Spiritual energy: Its dense Great Dao spiritual energy is markedly superior to that of Great Thousand Worlds and Small Thousand Worlds 348.
Shattered World Thunder Sea
- The boundary is a belt of void storms stretching untold billions of miles 984.
- Chaos thunderbolts can instantly reduce an ordinary God King to ash; even a high-rank God King attempting a forced crossing has only a one-in-ten chance of survival 984.
- Void Fierce Beasts inhabit the storms and feed on spatial fragments and thunderbolts 984.
- Pinnacle lineages can observe the North Sea through ancient divination formations and hereditary Heaven-Peering Divine Relics, bypassing the storms’ obstruction 984.
- Ye Suixing, Ye Nulei, and Ye Zhanyao cross the region directly while heading toward the Black Pyramid 984.
Cultivation and World Laws
Standing Among the Realms
| Comparison | Eternal Immortal Domain’s Position |
|---|---|
| Lower realm | Great Thousand Worlds, Medium Thousand Worlds, and Small Thousand Worlds are collectively treated as the lower realm. Their spiritual energy is poorer and their laws incomplete by comparison 260. |
| Outer Chaos | Capable of rivaling the Immortal Domain, despite possessing deficient laws and an incomplete Great Dao 505 627. |
| Myriad Heavens North Sea | Inferior in overall strength, including the collective strength of its younger generation 627. |
| Other dimensional spaces | A restriction appears to permit only a small number of foreign undying beings to enter, apart from the Domain’s connection to the Outer Chaos 621. |
Cultivation Conditions
- Ordinary children can begin cultivating and awaken their bodies at three years old. Ye Tian’s ability to cultivate earlier is explicitly exceptional 49.
- After reaching the Saint Realm, advancement involves not only absorbing spiritual energy but also studying Great Dao power and mastering its laws 511.
- God Sovereigns possess true freedom from the passage of time, although they can still be wounded or killed 231.
- Reaching God Emperor requires more than accumulating spiritual energy: a pinnacle Divine Dao cultivator must develop their own Dao and pursue its integration with the Great Dao 450.
The Approaching Golden Age
- Spiritual energy and Dao laws strengthen as the Golden Age approaches 576.
- An ancient restriction preventing young cultivators from becoming Supremes begins to fade 576.
- Immortal Forces nurture exceptional physiques, concealed successors, Ancient Freaks, and Taboo Prodigies for the coming competition 320 392 627.
- The Heavenly Mechanism Elder predicts an era of rising prodigies, unstable fate, and widespread bloodshed 118.
Political Powers
Hierarchy of Forces
| Category | Position and Foundations |
|---|---|
| Low-, middle-, high-, and top-tier forces | The principal classifications below Immortal Forces; kingdoms and sacred lands form intertwined networks throughout the realm 320. |
| Immortal Forces | Exceed top-tier non-immortal powers, but differ substantially in strength, reserves, and specialties 320. |
| Top-tier Immortal Forces | An Ultimate God Sovereign protector is considered exceptional even for a force at this level 251. |
| Pinnacle Immortal Forces | Treat Immortal God Sovereigns as major pillars of support 256. |
| Taboo-tier Immortal Forces | Include the Eternal Ye Family, Jade Pool Holy Land, and Taboo Su Family; their foundations exceed those of ordinary immortal lineages 146 611 627. |
Major Factions and Alliances
- Eternal Ye Family — The foremost family across the heavens. Its reigning patriarch, Ye Junlin, is introduced as the age’s sole God Emperor; its ancestors and military strength form a principal barrier against the Outer Chaos 1 35 611.
- Jade Pool Holy Land — A taboo-level Immortal Force ruled by Yue Liuli. Its former experts preserve their souls in the time-frozen Gods’ Burial Ground 146 231 984.
- Dao Realm and Buddha Realm — Rival religious blocs. The Dao Realm comprises numerous independent Immortal Forces rather than a single unified organization 121 249.
- Heavenly Mechanism Sacred Land — An illustrious Immortal Force associated with divination and knowledge of fate; it seeks Ye Family protection against the anticipated calamity 118 406.
- Ancestral Dragon Nest — A dominant draconic power with a longstanding grudge against the Ye Family, intensified by the seizure of its Primordial Dragon Egg 61 372.
- Four Lineages of Jade Dragon Dao Domain — The Nangong, Ximen, Beiming, and Dongfang families share an ancient mutual-defense pact. Their combined strength deters even some pinnacle Immortal Forces 400.
- Eternal Heavenly Court — Ye Tian’s expanding organization, incorporating powerful followers and subordinate Immortal Forces while extending its reach into the lower worlds 266 347 358 507.

Threats and External Conflicts
Outer Chaos and Life Forbidden Zones
- Dark lifeforms repeatedly invade to seize the Eternal Immortal Domain 505.
- Life Forbidden Zones maintain ties to the Outer Chaos; surviving monsters from a destroyed forbidden zone can still threaten several Immortal Forces 35 493.
- The Outer Chaos and Eternal Ye Family are sworn enemies. The family’s continued existence is identified as crucial to preventing the Myriad Heavens and Worlds from being assimilated into darkness 611.
- An Evil God clone threatens that the awakening of its Taboo Ancestral God will turn the Domain and surrounding worlds into hunting grounds. Ye Tian questions whether further hidden agents exist inside the Domain, but receives no confirmation 698.
Myriad Heavens North Sea
- The North Sea’s laws suppress visiting Immortal Domain prodigies, creating an advantage for local demon hunters 537 548.
- Some demons strengthen themselves by devouring those visitors 537 542.
- Competition over inheritances and treasures produces killings on both sides, deepening their mutual hostility 680 788.
- The World-Annihilating King’s revival threatens a wider conflict, prompting Immortal Forces to dispatch God Sovereigns and interfere with his plans 574 601.
