"Are you all right now? How do you feel?" Wang Shi carefully examined his body.
He could clearly sense that Taiyi was still very weak. His body had suffered severe damage, leaving him badly impaired.
Eastern Emperor Taiyi nodded.
"Well enough. I won't die."
"Actually, both of us felt there was something wrong with the system back then, but it really did give us benefits. We simply never expected it to subtly influence our perceptions and thoughts without us noticing a thing."
"By the time we realized something was wrong, its influence had already sunk deep. Fortunately, we both came to our senses and forcibly purged those systems from our bodies."

Wang Shi looked at Taiyi with newfound respect.
"It's been years since we last met. I never expected you two to have changed so much, Taiyi."
"How did you remove those systems?"
"As far as I know, these system lifeforms can only be detected once you can see the Origin Source."
Taiyi scratched his head awkwardly, then transformed into human form.
"It happened by accident, really. Ever since we established the Demon Realm, we've been cultivating with the demon realm origin. It was through a chance encounter that we discovered the systems attached to us."
"But we didn't remove them at the time. Instead, we used their missions to farm quite a few good things."
"Later, though, we realized we were sinking deeper and deeper. By the time we wanted to forcibly remove them, it was already too late."
