Chen Daoxuan completed Foundation Establishment, strengthened the Chen Family, and intervened in conflicts that exposed the Zhou Family to suspicion and the Zhao Family to a deadly trap. After escaping the Sun brothers’ formation, Chen Daoxuan and Zhou Mubai reported the conscious Purple Mansion Zombies to the Qianyuan Sword Sect, whose agents began pursuing a hidden figure in Cangzhou.

• Chen Daoxuan borrowed the Merfolk Tribe’s Spirit Vein to establish his Foundation, then used his tangible Sword Intent to refine his True Yuan and drive off the Azure Water Ape Tribe.
• Chen Daoxuan returned to Twin Lakes Island, advanced the Chen Family’s industrial artifact-forging plans, and visited the newly completed Lingzhou City with Chen Xianhe.
• At Lingzhou City’s celebration, Wu Guangyi accused the Zhou Family of killing 136 Wu cultivators, and Zhou Mucheng fought him in a life-and-death duel.

He learned the Qianyuan Sword Scripture, discovered that his teachings could awaken Enlightenment in others, and began organizing the family’s cultivators for war and research.

• Chen Daoxuan returned to Twin Lakes Island, took final responsibility for the Chen Family, and accelerated its training and development as the Corpse Rebellion threatened Guang'an Prefecture.
• Zhou Minghao formed an Allied Army and named Chen Daoxuan commander of the Western Defense Zone, a post Chen Daoxuan secured by defeating Lei Zhen in a spar.
